Assumption Parish recently held a general assembly for the purpose of electing a new Parish Council Board. Those elected included: Tim Beys, Ann Burmeister, John Choate, Keith Hidalgo, Matthew Johnson, John Kalaitzes, George Kuykendall, Steve Tefas and Charis Worden. According to Tefas, elections of officers will be held by the new board after the council has been approved by Metropolitan Isaiah.
